Declarations of military prosecutors will remain classified – the court

The Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeal dismissed the complaint of the Center for Combating Corruption against the decision of the Administrative Court, which allowed to declassify the declarations of military prosecutors.

This is reported by the CPC in his Twitter.

“The court rejected our complaint and upheld Matios’ decision on the secrecy of the declarations of military prosecutors,” the report said.

As you know, December 27, 2017 Kiev District Administrative Court recognized as lawful the decision of the Chief Military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios on the classification of declarations of prosecutors.

“The court did not find a violation of the requirements of the current legislation when Anatoly Matios took an appropriate decision to close information on the property status of officials of the military prosecutor’s office for their safety and the safety of their families,” the court reported.

As reported, on April 14, 2017, the declarations of the subordinates of the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko and Anatoly Matios disappeared from the site of the NAPK.

Subsequently, the NAPK explained that the declarations of a number of officials of the military prosecutor’s office had been withdrawn from the Register of e-declarations on the basis of Matios’s order.

The Anti-Corruption Center appealed against Matios’s decision and the decision of the NAPK.
