Employees of the SBU are involved in corruption with the issuance of Ukrainian passports to foreigners, – SAP

The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor’s office found that employees of the Security Service of Ukraine were involved in corruption schemes in the State Migration Service.

This statement was made by the deputy head of the SAP, Vladimir Krivenko, discussing the details of the corruption case in the Migration Service for issuing Ukrainian passports to foreigners, Ukrainian News reports.

“We have established that SBU officers are involved in this scheme (issuing passports of Ukrainian citizens to foreigners of Ukraine),” he said.

According to him, in connection with this, the SBU has developed a set of countermeasures to counteract anti-corruption bodies.
