Hungarian Foreign Minister said that the site Peacemaker works under the control of Ukrainian intelligence services
The statement that the Ukrainian state is not related to the site “Peacemaker”, which published a list of Transcarpathian officials with Hungarian passports is a lie. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siyyarto, writes the press service of the government.
“It is a lie that the Ukrainian state has nothing to do with the site that lists suspects with Ukrainian-Hungarian citizenship,” he said. The minister explained that the list contains personal data that are inaccessible from open sources – they can only be obtained from special services or government sources. “In addition, one of the directors of the NGO, who ran an extremist website, worked in the Ukrainian secret service,” the minister added.
Before this, Siyarto himself appeared in the database. He believes that behind this is the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. According to the minister, Poroshenko agreed to a “campaign of hatred,” trying to increase his popularity before the elections.
Recall, “Peacemaker” published a list of 313 Transcarpathians, holders of Hungarian passports, who are civil servants and officials of local self-government. These people appeared on the list due to the fact that they “swore allegiance to Hungary” while in the public service and in local government bodies.
