NABU detained two members of the Security Service for extorting bribes from businessmen

On Thursday, March 16, detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, together with SAP, detained two employees of the Security Service when they took a bribe of 50 thousand dollars. This information was made public by the press center of NABU on the official Facebook page.
“Detectives documented the extortion of $ 50,000 by detainees and the receipt through the intermediary of half of this amount from two heads of economic entities for not committing pressure on their business,” the press service said.
In the near future detained employees of the Security Service of Ukraine will be announced suspicion.

As previously reported, on March 2, employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine held the detention of the head of the GFS, Roman Nasirov, and conducted searches at several addresses, in particular, at the GFS office. Nasirov is charged with illegal decisions in the workplace and entering into a criminal conspiracy with Alexander Onishchenko.
