SBU does not see anything criminal in the cooperation of “Motor Sich” and Russia

The Security Service of Ukraine does not deny that the company has been repairing engines for Russian An-124s in 2016

The Security Service of Ukraine, in response to a request for cooperation, Motor Sich with Russia, pretended not to notice the facts of military assistance to the aggressor from the Ukrainian enterprise.

This is reported by the Commander-in-Chief, after he received a response from the Security Service on his request. The editorial board appealed to the SBU to clarify the cooperation of Ukraine and the law.

“Is it known to Ukrainian law enforcement agencies about the fact of cooperation, or is this activity lawful, considering the decision of the NSDC and the relevant presidential decrees on imposing sanctions on Russian companies and cooperation with the Russian Federation in the military sphere, are there any legal grounds for opening criminal proceedings In relation to the above facts, “- writes Glavkom.

Also, the publication provides a document with the answer of the SBU.

The source says that the SBU does not deny that the Motor Sich company has been repairing engines for Russian An-124s in 2016, but according to the special service, it speaks of civil aviation aircraft. They say that these aircraft are included in the register of civil aviation of the Russian Federation.

It is also reported that the fact is undisputable that the order for the restoration of aircraft in 2016 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not for space, but specifically for military unit No. 41495 (566th Transport Aviation Regiment). This is noted in court documents.

It is also said that according to the court ruling rendered by the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal of the Russian Federation and promulgated on December 7, 2016, during 2016 Motor Sich was repairing aircraft engines for the An-124 aircraft that are in service with the 566th Transport Aviation Regiment 41495) of the 61st Air Army of the Russian Air Force.

The Security Service of Ukraine could not see the court decision in the text, but in response to the “Glavkoma” (deliberately?) Ignored the fact, the newspaper writes.

Let’s remind, that the Ukrainian enterprise “Motor Sich” works directly with the Chinese Avicopter and has already concluded contracts on delivery of the new turbovaline engine AI-136T for the Russian-Chinese project AHL.
