The military prosecutor’s office is mired in huge corruption scandals

The Military Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine is being shaken by high-profile corruption scandals, in which its head Anatoly Matios and his deputy Dmitry Borzykh appear. “News” from reliable sources learned what exactly is happening now in the department. And it turned out that everything is bad there: as long as the leadership “covers” the corruption schemes, ordinary employees express their dissatisfaction with what is happening.

Two weeks ago in the media there was a report of the military prosecutor of the ATU forces Konstantin Kulik addressed to the head of the GPU Yuri Lutsenko. Kulik complained to Matios, indicating the amount of bribes, which, according to him, extorted from the persons involved in the resonant cases.

After the publication of Kulik’s report, a refutation came on his behalf. However, as it became known to “Vesti” from its own sources in the military prosecutor’s office, Kulik did not file it. The customers of the false statement were Anatoly Matios himself and his deputy Dmitry Borzykh, our interlocutors reported.

It is also known that in the near future it is planned to submit several more reports to the leadership of the GPU and NABU about the facts of corruption by the leadership of the military prosecutor’s office.

Envelopes for good work

Since July 2016, the military prosecutor’s office has instituted a system of bribery of investigators and prosecutors who conduct resonant proceedings against Alexander Klimenko, the brothers Sergei and Alexander Katsuba; production, related to crimes in the ATU zone, etc. by the leadership.

According to our sources, every month Matios instructs the Borzois to form envelopes and give out a thousand dollars to agreed persons – aa about 30-50 employees. As a rule, money is distributed personally by Borzykh or his authorized representative Olga Mirgorodskaya. The last time the money was distributed Mirgorodskaya in December 2016. Matios, Borzykh, Mirgorodskaya commented to the prosecutors as follows: “This is the money of the president’s fund,” which they noted for very good work. ” True, this is a fund that allocates US $ 50,000 monthly to officials, it is not known. According to our source, these funds are from systemically received bribes, in other words, they are from the formed obshchak, which Borzikh personally controls.

Non-Trust Bank

As Vesti learned, last December Matios and Borzykh gave illegal orders to stop the searches at Vernum Bank, ignoring the court’s decisions. At the same time, both referred to the instructions of the President and the Prosecutor General. From reliable sources, “Vesti” it became known that this bank was used to legalize the proceeds from the criminal schemes Katsub and “Boyko towers.”

According to our interlocutors in the prosecutor’s office, the motivation for such actions was the receipt of a million US dollars and the promise of a new “tranche.” This information is also indicated in the report of Kulik.

The Path of the Borzois

34-year-old Dmitry Borzykh began his career in Lugansk, where in 2005 he worked in the regional prosecutor’s office. In the autumn of 2014, he was appointed head of the investigation department of the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office of the GPU.

Several years his name surfaced in the media because of a number of major corruption scandals. At that time he worked as one of the heads of the prosecutor’s office of the Goloseevsky district of Kiev. “The prosecutor’s office of Kiev with a hiccup remembers this employee … An ordinary bribe taker,” sources in the law enforcement agency told us.

Subsequently, Borzik went to the promotion: for today he is the deputy of Anatoly Matios (Borzykh’s post already after the events of EuroMaidan). Borzi actively participated in the investigation of the loud “case of Pushkar” (battalion commander of the 28th Odessa Mehbrigade, who was accused of receiving more than a million hryvnias from the militants). He was also part of the prosecutors in the “Vlasenko case” (Yulia Tymoshenko’s lawyer, who was accused of beating his wife).

From its sources, Vesti, it is known that Borzykh maintains links with bandit groups in the territory of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Republic of China. In the apparatus of the military prosecutor’s office (patronized by Matios and Borzyk), the key position is occupied by Sergei Dolgopolov, who has full access to all the proceedings and information in the GPU, while his father-in-law is a member of the Supreme Court of the People’s Democratic Republic.

During the years 2015 and 2016, Greyhounds very often traveled abroad, disguised as business trips or vacations for meetings of a corrupt nature. The topic of the talks was the evasion of the criminal liability of a number of individuals who are being prosecuted for the proceedings investigated by the military prosecutor’s office. “The sums, as a rule, start from 1 million dollars”, – our source specifies.

Greyhounds are also known for their love for expensive things. As reported by the “Prosecutor’s Truth”, he moved from Lugansk to the capital on a BMW “coupe” worth 90 thousand dollars. The media got his photo with a pen at a price of 1.5 thousand dollars. From the hands of President Poroshenko Borzykh received a medal “For Labor and Valor”. By decree of the Minister of Defense (at that time the post was occupied by Poltorak – Ed.) Was awarded a weapon, a TT pistol. He is also the right hand of Matios in the “cover” envelopes “in the ATU zone.
