In Italy, atoshnik was sentenced to 24 years in prison for murder
Euromaidan activist and the commander of the National Guard under the battalion. General Sergei Kulchitsky Vitaly Markiv Italian court sentenced to 24 years in prison. This was announced on his Facebook page by Kiev journalist Andrei Manchuk.
Markiv was accused of murdering in Slavyansk an Italian member of the group of independent photo reporters Cesuralab Andrea Rockelli and his translator, a Russian journalist and human rights activist Andrei Mironov.
“An euromaidan activist, a dobobatovtsi has just been convicted in Italy for the murder of photographer Andrea Rocelli and his translator … Andrei Mironov, who died on May 24, 2014 in the Donetsk region,” wrote Manchuk.
The nationalist was convicted and sentenced to 24 years in prison. According to Manchuk, this is an extremely important event.
“This is an exceptionally significant precedent. Numerous nationalist war crimes are not investigated in Ukraine, but in the future they can be brought to justice through European judicial bodies in order to achieve justice there,” the journalist said.
