Lutsenko appointed the accused in the illegal enrichment of the prosecutor ATO Kulik to the leadership position in the GPU

Attorney General Lutsenko appointed scandalous prosecutor ATO Konstantin Kulik to the post of Prosecutor General’s Office.

This is reported by the Ukrainian Truth with reference to the press secretary of the Prosecutor General Larisa Sargan.

Lutsenko dismissed Kulik from the post of prosecutor of the ATU and appointed him deputy head of the Department of International Legal Cooperation of the GPU.

The GPU website in the “appointments” section indicates that Kulik received a new position in the Prosecutor General’s Office on April 14, 2017.

Currently, the court is considering a case of illegal enrichment of former prosecutor ATU Kulik.

“If the court finds his fault, then there will be a corresponding reaction from the Prosecutor General’s Office,” Sargan said, adding that there is still no court decision to date.

In the previously published text of the prepared by NABU and SAP suspicion against Kulik it was stated that in the period from 2011 to April 26, 2015 he received 758 966.74 UAH of income. At the same time, his expenses exceeded the official income by UAH 2608 408.59 and amounted to UAH 3367 375.33.

As reported by “Country”, in October 2016, the military prosecutor of ATU Kulik was accused of illegal enrichment. In the NABU intends to sue the indictment for consideration on the merits in the shortest possible time.

Earlier in the NABU they announced the completion of the pre-trial investigation in the criminal case of Konstantin Kulik. Also, NABU promulgated the wiretapping of Kulik, where, according to Artem Sytnik, work on heroization of the prosecutor of ATU was confirmed.

Note that during the stay of prosecutors ATU Kulik demanded to arrest the People’s Deputy Sergei Leshchenko.
