LUTSENKO GAVE “GOOD” TO STEAL FUEL FOR THEIR “SPECIAL” SUBORDINATES: SENIOR INVESTIGATOR “OF THE DEPARTMENT KONONENKO-GRANOVSKY” ALEX ALFIMOV WHO STOLE THE COUPONS FOR FUEL DURING A SEARCH AT CHERKASY OFFICIALS, ESCAPED WITH A REPRIMAND

Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko reprimanded the senior investigator of the Prosecutor General Alexei Alfimova who stole the coupons for fuel during a search at Cherkasy official.

These results of official investigations, the Prosecutor General’s office said in response to the request of the Center for combating corruption, writes Crime.NO.

Alfimov during the search of the head of one of village councils of Cherkasy region, suspected of receiving almost 5 million UAH of a bribe took possession of the passes for 330 liters of gasoline A-92. These coupons he later repeatedly used for their own needs and the needs of family members.

According to the submitted income declarations for the year 2015, Alfimov officially earned last year slightly more than 140 thousand hryvnias, of which 135 thousand is the salary, and about 5 thousand are “other income”. Any property owned by himself or his wife of the Prosecutor have not specified, but noted the presence of the Jaguar X-Type 2005 release, issued on his wife.

The sanction of article which is incriminated “nabwani” the Prosecutor, provides imprisonment for the term from 3 till 8 years.

On 25 January, the NAB announced the completion of pre-trial investigation in this production and that in the near future accusation in committing a crime under part 2 of article 191 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (Assignment, waste of property or taking to them by abuse of official position) will be referred to the court.
