The main anti-corruption SBU found a secret state

У главного антикоррупционера СБУ нашли тайное состояние

Journalists of the “Investigation.Info” program found the family of the first deputy head of the Security Service, Pavel Demchin, who heads the General Directorate for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime, cars and elite real estate

In the declaration of Pavel Demchiny for 2015 it is stated that he does not have his own real estate, cars and savings. Officially, the main anti-corruption officer of the SBU lived in a hostel.

According to journalists, 35-year-old Olga Volovchuk, who is Demzina’s civil wife, owns four cars and lives in a country estate in Petropavlovskaya Borshchagovka.

When asked by journalists about the owner of the house, Demchin replied that he did not know who owns the property. The journalists’ request to the first deputy head of the SBU with a request to explain the origin of his family’s property remained unanswered.

On the eve of the Center for Combating Corruption in Court requires the SBU to declassify the employees’ declarations. Public organization “Center for Counteracting Corruption” (CPC) filed a lawsuit against the Security Service of Ukraine for classifying information from the declarations of its employees with the requirement to transfer it to the public register of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPK).

Also, activists want to recognize illegal the inaction of the leadership of the NAPK, which should develop procedures for submitting declarations for “secret civil servants”.
